The purpose of WaGEF is to empower and uplift women and girls by creating a platform for education, advocacy, and support to address issues affecting their social, economic, and political well-being. Women and Girls Empowerment Forum (WaGEF) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) with a primary focus to empower women and girls for self-reliance and human dignity.  WaGEF is registered with the Bombali District Council. WaGEF is born out of the passion of the founder and pioneer to promote girls and women’s equality in Bombali and beyond.
